Resale royalties

The sale doesn’t end when the work leaves your studio.

The artwork keeps its record as ownership changes hands. If a collector resells it through Curated OPUS, the history updates and your 4% royalty is paid automatically.

01

The collector owns the record, not just the work

When a work sells through OPUS, the certificate and provenance transfer with it. The collector holds a verifiable record of what they own and where it came from, which is exactly what makes it easy to resell later.

The collector lists the work from their own account. The buyer sees the full history: who made it, when it was registered, and every owner since.

Worth being clear about

Only resales through OPUS

If a collector sells the work privately, at auction, or anywhere outside Curated OPUS, no royalty is paid. This is not an artist’s resale right and it is not enforced by law. It works because the record lives here, and because reselling through OPUS is the easiest way for a collector to prove what they own.

Permanent

Royalties do not expire with a subscription

Your royalty is attached to the artwork’s record, not to your plan. Every work you have registered keeps its record, certificate and ownership history permanently, and keeps paying you on resale, whether or not you are subscribed when the resale happens, and whether or not you ever subscribed at all.

Start with one artwork.

Every work you register carries its royalty from the day it is catalogued.
